Who am I?

Hello! My name is Hana, I am an artist, biologist, and plant enthusiast passionate about bringing nature into everyday spaces.

I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biology and have hands on experience in plant care, greenhouse management, and scientific research. For five years, I managed the University of Akron’s greenhouse, caring for a wide variety of plants while also working in animal and human research. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed sharing what I’ve learned with others and connecting people with the natural world. After a career in cancer research, I recently chose to focus more directly on my passion for plants and creativity.

Through my work, I aim to make nature accessible and inspiring, whether through my paintings, botanical art/terrariums, or home grown plants. Outside of creating art and terrariums, I enjoy entomology, video games, photography, and ceramics!
